2. Data we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, preferred discussion date, consultation interest, and the message you provide. Server logs may record IP address and browser type for security. We do not ask for national insurance numbers or full account numbers via the website form.

3. Purposes and lawful bases

We process enquiry data to respond to consultation requests (legitimate interests and, where you request a service, steps prior to a contract). Essential cookies support site operation. Analytics cookies run only if you accept them (consent).

4. Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for up to twenty-four months. Engagement records for clients follow longer retention required for UK financial advice record-keeping, typically at least five years after the end of the relationship, unless a longer period is required by law.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with IT hosting providers under contract, or with professional advisers (solicitors, accountants) when you ask us to involve them. We disclose information if required by law or regulators.

6. International transfers

Our primary processing is in the United Kingdom. If a supplier stores data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time via browser controls and by clearing the stored preference (see Cookies). You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

8. Children

This site is intended for adults considering financial advice. We do not knowingly collect data from children under sixteen.
