Fees
How consultations are priced
We charge for defined pieces of advice work. Fees below are informational starting points; complex cases are quoted after a short triage call. There is no online checkout.
| Consultation | Fee basis | Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Retirement Income Map | Fixed household fee | From £1,450 — higher where multiple defined-benefit schemes need sequencing notes |
| Inheritance Conversation | Fixed session fee | From £890 for up to three adult participants |
| Protection Gap Review | Fixed review fee | £620 for a standard household policy set |
| Owner-Manager Cash-Flow Counsel | Quote after scope | Typically £1,100–£1,800 depending on company complexity |
| Discovery triage call | Complimentary | Fifteen minutes to confirm fit before any paid work |
Fees cover preparation, meetings, and written deliverables described on each consultation page. Travel outside Northern Ireland for in-person work may attract a separate arrangement, agreed in writing first.
What moves a fee up or down
- Number of pension schemes and overseas pots
- Whether adult children or an accountant join sessions
- Urgency of a remortgage or retirement date
- Availability of complete statements at the outset
Payment & deposits
For fixed-fee work we invoice fifty percent to reserve diary time and the balance on delivery of the written plan. Quote-based engagements follow the schedule set out in the engagement letter. See our refunds and cancellations page for rescheduling rules.
